Our Mission

People organized. Power accountable. Communities stronger.

We must learn to fight less with each other and more for one another. That means building relationships, asking hard questions, and organizing around the decisions that affect our lives.

01CONNECT

Build Power Together

Every block has people who see the problems and have ideas to solve them. We bring those voices together across neighborhoods and communities. When people connect, share information, and organize, they gain the power to press for change.

02ACCOUNTABILITY

Make Government Answer

Public money deserves public scrutiny. Decisions deserve explanations. Residents deserve answers. We will ask where the money went, who made the decisions, and what results people received. Our standard is Results, Not Rhetoric!

03QUALITY OF LIFE

Fight for What Matters

Getting home safely. Finding a clean park for your children. Receiving reliable services. Having a fair chance to get ahead. These everyday needs shape our priorities and give our work its purpose. Tell us where your community needs action.

About Richard Thomas

"We must learn to fight less with each other and more for one another."

Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas knows what it means to lead under pressure.

At 33, he became the youngest mayor in Mount Vernon's history, serving from 2016 to 2019. His administration pursued safer neighborhoods, pressed for bridge investment, advanced Memorial Field restoration efforts, and expanded access to government through livestreamed meetings.

His service continued beyond City Hall. A September 11 survivor, husband, father, and strategist, Richard continues advocating for health protections, stronger infrastructure, and economic opportunity.

Today, he is bringing that experience to a broader mission, helping people organize, demand answers, and fight for their communities.
